The Thomas County Museum of History proudly presents fun-filled, content-rich experiences for students in Grades 2 through 12. Museum Field Trips Field trips to the Museum of History align with Fourth, Fifth, Eighth, and U. S. History Georgia Performance Standards. Thanks to a grant from the Thomasville Antiques Show Foundation, Inc., these field trips are FREE to student groups from Thomas County.
Explore Historic Buildings Immerse your students in the historic buildings on the Museum grounds. Visit the Rufus Smith home, built before 1860; the Emily Joyner House, built in 1877 by an Confederate widow; the 1893 Metcalfe Courthouse; and, the 1893 Ewart Family Bowling Alley.
